In
an effort to streamline the reporting process and provide
more efficient service to Saginaw residents, businesses and
our visitors, the Saginaw Police Department has installed an
online report system. Reports are submitted via a secure socket layer (SSL)
connection. In addition, personal information is
encrypted at time of submission. This system will allow the public to use the Internet to report:
- Lost property
- Theft
- Vehicle burglary
- Harassing phone calls
- Vandalism (mischief)
- Hit and run accidents (non-injury only)
- Stolen checks
- Stolen credit cards
- Gas drive-offs
The online system should only be used for non-emergency incidents
occurring within the city limits of Saginaw.
All reports filed online will be reviewed by the police
department. If further investigation of an online report is needed
or if we need more information,
you will be contacted by a police officer. It is very
important to include contact information (e.g., phone
numbers, email address)
